Marissa is the most authentic person I know. She is 100% real, no pretending, no trying to be like anyone else, no holding back. I admire this so much about her! She says what she thinks, calls people out on their crap, and makes everyone around her laugh! She has a special gift of reading people, like she can see inside their soul.
She and I have very different perspectives and personality traits, like quite opposite actually! This has created many challenges in our relationship over the years. I used to think this was a problem, but now I realize it is a blessing. It was always supposed to be that way.
She helps me see things through a different lense. She reminds me to just be myself. She teaches me that there is more than one way to do things, and it's good to be different!
God knew I had so much to learn about myself, so He sent Marissa to teach me, to challenge me, and to help me discover things I many not have otherwise seen! I'm a blessed Mama.
