This picture represents a tender memory.
Fours years ago when I was at my heaviest weight, the diamond fell out of my wedding ring. I could not get the ring off of my finger to have it repaired. It was heartbreaking and humiliating to have my husband cut it off. This was a very low point for me and I promised myself that night that I would not get it fixed until I had lost weight and reached a healthy size that I could maintain. In this photo, I had just gotten my ring back from the jeweler and call me sentimental, but it was really special to have Dan put it back on my finger.
I am the luckiest girl in the whole world to be married to this amazing man who has always been my biggest cheerleader. He has always seen the beauty in me, no matter my size. He has always looked at me with adoration, even when I didn't understand how he could.
He tells me I am even more beautiful now...not because I am thinner, but because I finally believe it too!
